A Must-Stay for Family Trips in Hong Kong! The Dreamz Hotel’s Super Heartwarming Experience

During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, I spent less than HKD 2,000 to stay at the Hong Kong Dream Chuen Hotel, and I was absolutely delighted! This beachfront hotel with sea views was such a pleasant surprise. Let me share some pros and cons 🧏🏻♀️
1️⃣ Excellent Location! For a citywalk-style trip, a prime location is always my top priority when choosing a hotel. This hotel is practically atop the metro station—just 50 meters from Exit N1 of Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station. The convenience of stepping out of the station and arriving at the hotel is unbeatable!
2️⃣ High-floor Sea Views + Spacious Rooms The room was located on a high floor, offering unobstructed sea views of Victoria Harbor's dazzling beauty! The room I chose was approximately 27 square meters, which is considered spacious for Hong Kong hotels. The price of nearly HKD 2,000 felt reasonable for this setup, and I heard that during the off-season, you can book it for under HKD 1,000—great value for money.
3️⃣ Perfect Surrounding Amenities Right outside the hotel is Victoria Harbor, and you can walk to the K11 shopping center. The area is filled with amazing restaurants and bars. I even discovered an incredible Japanese restaurant and ended up dining there two days in a row! The bar downstairs had a fantastic vibe, but unfortunately, I arrived too late to grab a good spot.
4️⃣ Modern Comfort + Thoughtful Service The hotel has only been open for two years, so everything feels fresh and clean. The staff were friendly and responsive, addressing any requests promptly.
5️⃣ Minor Drawbacks The room didn’t come with tissues, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, check-in was only available after 4 PM, which felt like a long wait. However, after providing feedback to Ctrip, I received a cashback compensation, which made me feel much better.
Overall, Hong Kong Dream Chuen Hotel is absolutely worth recommending! Whether it’s the sea views, location, or value for money, it’s a winner. I’d love to stay here again on my next trip to Hong Kong! 💖
