Kiu Tsui Island is located in the Sai Kung waters of eastern Hong Kong, famous for its crystal-clear waters, lush forests, and unspoiled natural beauty.
Boarding the boat at Sai Kung pier, enjoying the scenery on the boat felt like entering a secluded paradise. The water was so clear you could see the bottom, with small fish occasionally swimming by, making you want to jump in immediately.
The island has two piers, Kiu Tsui Island and Half Moon Bay. We landed at Half Moon Bay. Under the blue sky and white clouds, the sea showed a dreamy turquoise color, and the distant hills were covered with dense green trees, refreshing the mind. The coastal rocks and fine sand formed a peaceful seaside painting, with a few red balloons floating in the air, adding a lively touch.
Upon arrival at the shore, there was a small beach with simple facilities and a few visitors nearby. One or two buoys floated on the distant sea, creating an especially tranquil scene. Although the beach was not large, its pristine environment, far from the city's hustle and bustle, was perfect for travelers wanting to relax and enjoy nature.
Following the hiking trail (about an hour), the view from the top revealed a broader perspective. From the high vantage point, Kiu Tsui Island was surrounded by blue-green waters, with small islands and continuous mountain ranges in the distance. The fresh air opened up the heart and mind.
Finally, on the other side of Kiu Tsui Island, we experienced the delicate sandy beach and gently lapping waves up close. The distant mountain shadows and boats added a poetic touch to the journey.
This trip to Kiu Tsui Island, though not long, was full of surprises and satisfaction. Whether it was the clear water, dense forest, or peaceful atmosphere, it made me feel the wonder of nature.
