🎈 Hung Hom Kwun Yum Temple - Hung Hom Guanyin Temple, also known as the Guanyin Money Borrowing Temple, holds the annual Guanyin Money Borrowing Ceremony. This temple is an ancient temple in Hong Kong located in the Hung Hom area, built in 1873. During World War II, this area was bombed, destroying the port of Whampoa, but the temple was unharmed by the bombs. Locals have great faith in Guanyin at this temple. Hung Hom Guanyin Temple is popular among both Hong Kong residents and foreign tourists. People often come to pray for financial blessings, health, and luck. Every year, an important ceremony called the Guanyin Money Borrowing Ceremony is held 26 days after the Lunar New Year.
