Aladdin Seafood Restaurant (Tsim Sha Tsui)

"Aladdin Seafood Restaurant" is my favorite spot for handcrafted Cantonese cuisine. I've been a regular at their Jordan and Causeway Bay locations, always craving their signature dishes like "Freshly Roasted Iberico Char Siu," "Black Truffle Crispy Roast Goose," "Braised Pork Intestines in Master Stock," and, of course, the famous "Sticky Rice Stir-Fried Crab Roe." With their new Tsim Sha Tsui branch recently opened, I couldn't resist paying a visit. The new location is more spacious and just as popular, with even weekday dinner services fully booked. 😋😋

▪️ Hong Kong-Style Rich Chicken Soup with Shark Fin (8 taels of fin) $888
A delightful discovery today! This pot of rich chicken soup with shark fin is simply extraordinary. The broth, simmered for hours with fresh chicken and shark fin, is incredibly thick and gelatinous, packed with collagen. The shark fin, weighing a full 8 taels, is impressively large and meaty. The chicken absorbs all the rich flavors of the soup, making it tender and flavorful. A must-try recommendation!

▪️ Braised Pork Intestines in Master Stock $158
A nostalgic classic dish that's not easy to perfect and increasingly rare to find. Here, the pork intestines are deeply infused with the aroma of the master stock, offering a crisp and chewy texture. Paired with sweet sauce and mustard, it's the epitome of traditional deliciousness.

▪️ Freshly Roasted Iberico Char Siu $258
An exceptionally high-quality char siu! The meat is incredibly tender, with a slightly charred and caramelized edge. Thickly sliced with a perfect balance of fat and lean, the honey glaze seasoning is just right. Served hot, it's absolutely outstanding.

▪️ Black Truffle Crispy Roast Goose (1/4 portion) $238
A signature favorite! Made with a special black truffle sauce and premium black-feathered goose, the crispy blackened skin is incredibly crunchy, while the meat remains juicy and tender. The truffle aroma is intoxicating, and when paired with goose jus or the special plum sauce, it leaves you craving more after every bite.

▪️ Stir-Fried Broccoli Sprouts with Garlic $128
No meal is complete without some greens. These tender broccoli sprouts have a slightly crisp texture and are stir-fried with garlic for a perfect wok hei flavor.

▪️ Chicken Soup Rice Noodles (bowl) $58
For those who prefer noodles over rice, this bowl of chicken soup rice noodles is highly recommended. The rich chicken broth pairs perfectly with the noodles, making it incredibly satisfying and delicious.

▪️ Complimentary Dessert: Red Bean Soup
The dinner service also includes a complimentary dessert of red bean soup. The beans are cooked to a soft, sandy texture, and the sweetness is just right—not overly sweet. It's fantastic!
