【Tai O Heritage Hotel】 120-Year-Old Tai O Police Station: A One-Day Historical and Cultural Tour

Tai O Heritage Hotel is open to the public as a historic site from 12 PM to 6 PM. I took the opportunity to explore around. The tour route starts from the hotel entrance:

🗓️ Itinerary: Slope entrance next to Shek Tsai Po Pier ➡️ Hotel information board ➡️ Defensive cannon ➡️ Arrive at the main building ➡️ Searchlight ➡️ Flagpole ➡️ Reporting room and detention room (currently the hotel front desk) ➡️ Walk around the first hotel building to the room with bullet marks at the back ➡️ Exit the main hotel passage to visit the lotus pond ➡️ Take the stairs up to the restaurant for a distant view of the lookout defense tower

On designated days, the hotel offers three heritage guided tours from 3 PM to 4 PM, which can be booked on the hotel’s official website. Definitely worth joining!
