Hong Kong JW Marriott personal review, unbeatable value

Last summer, I stayed here to see the I.M. Pei exhibition and luckily got upgraded to a harbor view room! 31 square meters is definitely spacious for Hong Kong. Although the hotel is a bit older, it’s very well maintained~ The mattress supports your back without being too soft, you can choose between high or low pillows, and there’s even a bathtub for soaking! I forgot the brand of the toiletries (probably Marriott’s own), but the overall experience was excellent!

The location is unbeatable! Right above Pacific Place, super convenient for cars and the MTR~ You can lie in bed and enjoy the beautiful Victoria Harbour view, and the higher the floor, the more stunning it gets! The most unforgettable part is the outdoor pool, which looks like a painting both day and night! There’s a poolside bar, so when you get hungry from swimming, you can order a drink or some snacks anytime, super chill~

The 800 HKD dining credit seems like a lot, but it’s actually quite easy to “max it out” with breakfast and main meals 🤣 The breakfast selection is comprehensive, and dining in the room with a Victoria Harbour view really boosts the vacation vibe! The staff are warm and attentive, the only minor downside is that several hotel entrances are close together, so it’s a bit of a detour when getting in and out by car~

In summary: For this price including the room and with such a great location, grab the room voucher as soon as it’s available! You definitely won’t regret it~
