On Sunday, craving some affordable and authentic Northern Chinese cuisine, I chose Yong Li Yuan.
Right after getting off the lift, I saw Yong Li Yuanโs signboard and decor, feeling like stepping back in time. It was very crowded, and I waited an hour to be seated.
The place is clean, the dining hall is large with a strong classical vibe.
The waiter was very efficient, clearing tables quickly with speed and politeness. ๐๐๐
Prices are affordable, and the flavors are outstanding!
The spicy wontons in chili oil really have a strong Sichuan taste, the spiciness is just right, and the wontons are big, with thin skin and full meat filling, making it hard to stop eating. ๐๐๐
The braised beef tendon and brisket are super delicious, with no extra side dishes, just soft and tender beef tendon and brisket, richly flavored, perfect with rice.
This will definitely be my must-order next time...๐๐๐
The non-spicy Kung Pao chicken I tried for the first time was incredibly flavorful, the chicken tender and smooth, bursting with taste. Unbeatable! ๐ค
The hot pan-fried buns have crispy skin and thick meat filling, full of meaty aroma, finished one in three bites. ๐
Eating Northern cuisine, the Shanghai thick fried noodles canโt be missed~ served in a big plate, very generous!
It really feels like home...
The flavor is authentic, the texture of the Shanghai thick noodles is just right, chewy and delicious.
For dessert, the red bean paste pancake is filled with plenty of red bean paste, best enjoyed hot.
Thatโs it for this satisfying meal, see you next time!
