Eslite's Giant Jade Bear

Step into the 9th floor of Eslite in Causeway Bay, and you'll find a massive jade bear climbing a ladder to catch a bird—a hilariously adorable scene. This is part of the newly opened "LINSHIAOTUNG Art Space" by Taiwanese jewelry artist Lin Shiaotung.
The debut exhibition, "Happiness, It's What You Taught Me," traces back to 28 years ago when Lin gifted his daughter a stuffed bear. Through jade bear sculptures, the exhibition weaves stories of love, companionship, jewelry, and memories. One corner showcases Lin's precious sketches and wax prototypes of the bear, but the highlight is undoubtedly the hundredfold enlarged jade bear and bird.
The jade jewelry here is far from old-fashioned; instead, it exudes a playful charm, like a refreshing stream or a dreamy fairy tale world, sparking boundless imagination.
