Radiant Nature — Lanterns, Lights, and Liminal Space

Though Radiant Nature spans late fall into winter, its atmosphere is perfectly aligned with Halloween’s embrace of dusk and light. The Chinese lantern installations — glowing animals, plants, interactive zones and lit swings — cast long, soft light across garden paths. Walking through the themed zones in near twilight, there’s a gentle eeriness: the lanterns’ glow reflected in ponds, shadows stretching among trees, hushed voices, and the scent of night blooming plants. It’s less about jump scares and more about enchantment — like stepping into a storybook when the magic is just about to begin. Photos don’t always capture how immersive it feels. Loved how this adds mystery, beauty, and light to chilly evenings.
