Thousand-Year-Old Temple, Divine in Autumn: Shouxian Bao'en Temple

☘️Bao'en Temple, formerly known as Chongjiao Zen Temple, is located in the northeast corner of the ancient city of Shouxian in Anhui. It was first built during the Tang Dynasty's Zhenguan period under the supervision of Master Xuanzang, with a history of nearly 1,400 years.
🌾The temple covers an area of 14,700 square meters. In front of the Grand Hall stand two thousand-year-old ginkgo trees planted by Master Xuanzang himself, which have witnessed the changes of time. On both sides of the hall entrance, the walls are embedded with seven large characters "Namo Shiying Mouni Buddha" written by the great calligrapher Zhao Mengfu. Inside the hall are clay sculptures of the Eighteen Arhats made during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty.
