🌟Highlight features: Baoquan Yu Huang Temple was originally a mountain temple. It should have been built in the late Ming Dynasty and was renovated in the 37th year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (1772 AD); it was renovated again during the Jiaqing period and renamed Yu Huang Temple; it was renovated again during the Tongzhi period. The temple faces south and covers an area of 560 square meters, 28 meters from north to south and 20 meters from east to west.
The existing cultural relic buildings include the mountain gate (opera building) and the east and west ear buildings, the main hall and the east and west side halls, and the east and west side buildings. The building area is 312 square meters. The architectural complex is in the style of the middle and late Qing Dynasty. All are brick and wood structures with hard mountain tops, gray tile roofs, high reliefs, and lotus ridges. The temple layout is compact, the halls are tall and solemn, the opera building faces the temple, and the buildings on the left and right sides are enclosed to form a patio courtyard. A doorway is opened in the northwest corner of the wall, which is connected to the open-air toilet outside the wall.
There are two stone carvings embedded in the corridor wall on the east side of the main hall, and a stele is embedded in the south corridor wall on the first floor of the west side building. The architectural complex is well-preserved and has important historical, scientific, artistic and cultural value.
On December 17, 2021, the People's Government of Henan Province announced Baoquan Yu Huang Temple as the eighth batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units.

📌Tips: There is a wide space in front of the temple, where you can park.
