Hutou Town is even more tranquil on rainy days. Stroll along the Ussuri River and enjoy the view of Russia on the opposite bank. The mist on the river surface makes it feel like being in an ink painting. The scenic area also features historical sites such as the World War II End Monument and Hutou Fortress, allowing you to appreciate the autumn scenery while feeling the weight of history.

1️⃣ It’s windy by the river, remember to bring a waterproof jacket
2️⃣ It is recommended to wear non-slip shoes as the stone paths can be slippery when wet
3️⃣ You can take a boat ride to experience the Ussuri River up close (open depending on weather conditions)

Be sure to try the local specialty Ussuri River fish feast. The river fish is fresh and delicious. We recommend the "Riverside Family" farmhouse restaurant, their stewed river fish is exceptional!

Transportation:
It is recommended to drive. It takes about 40 minutes from Hulin city center. You can also take the shuttle bus from Hulin to Hutou, which runs once every hour.
