Gyeyang Mountain Fortress Museum

#summervacay Looking for something a little different to do around Incheon? The Gyeyang Mountain Fortress Museum is a surprisingly cool find. It’s small and low-key, but full of interesting history about Korea’s old mountain fortresses. The exhibits are neat, easy to follow, and there’s just enough English to keep you in the loop. It’s a great little spot to pop into before or after hiking up Gyeyangsan, the mountain’s right there, and the view is honestly pretty great.
The whole place has a calm, peaceful vibe, and it’s usually not crowded at all. Plus, it’s free! You won’t need a ton of time to go through it, but it’s totally worth the visit if you’re nearby. Grab a coffee, take a walk, and soak up a little history without feeling overwhelmed. No pressure, no fuss, just a nice break from the usual. Definitely one of those “glad I stopped by” kind of places.
