I've been to Kyoto many times, so it's time to take a short trip around the area. Arranged a day trip to Miyazu City Amanohashidate and Inecho Funaya
In the morning, take the JR from Kyoto to Amahashidate and perfectly connect to the bus to Inecho. First to the pier to take a sightseeing boat, you can buy a pack of shrimp on the boat to feed the seagulls, the experience is quite special🤭 The voyage can explore Japan's famous Funaya Village, but if you want to explore more closely, you have to finish the boat and walk over Cafe, it is located in the seaside boat house complex, you can enjoy authentic handmade desserts, coffee, lunch and authentic seafood, while looking out the window fishing boat leisurely gliding by, the sea breeze blowing, the whole person is very relax.
Address: 593-1 Hirata Funaya Biyori 593-1 Ine-cho, Kyoto Prefecture and Saki-gun 626-0423
Check the bus time, take the return bus to Amanohashidate Station, walk from here to Amanohashidate viewland is only a few minutes, you can take a crane up the mountain to enjoy one of the three scenic spots in Japan Amanohashidate, and play the unique "Stock no ぞき台" upside down view of the view 🤭
Itinerary tips (real insights):
This day trip feels so fulfilling! You don’t have to drive yourself, it’s very convenient to take the bus from Amahashidate to Egan – I recommend staying one night to experience the slow life of the fishing village.
Transportation Tips & Food Tips:
- There is a bus from Amahashidate to Egan, no need to bother driving.
- Ine Cafe seating is limited, remember to reserve time to wait or consider takeout and find a place near the boat house to enjoy slowly.
Practical tips for destinations:
- It is best to leave the trip early to avoid crowds on weekends and consecutive holidays.
- Summer is easy to get sun, remember to do sunscreen, bring a hat and sunglasses.
