Galata Tower: Reach for the Istanbul Sky!

#summervacay Wandering around Istanbul at night? 10/10 would do again. The city totally transforms after dark, everything lights up, from the mosques to the little side streets, and it all feels super alive but also kind of cozy. The call to prayer echoing in the background while street cats roam and locals sip tea? Vibes.
I strolled from Galata to Sultanahmet and every corner had something going on, street musicians, little food stalls selling fresh simit or roasted chestnuts, and cafés full of people just chilling. The Bosphorus at night is gorgeous too, with the lights reflecting off the water and ferries still cruising by.
Even though it’s busy, it didn’t feel overwhelming. It’s a safe, easy walk with tons of spots to stop, sit, and soak it all in. You really feel the soul of the city at night, like a mix of ancient history and modern energy.
If you’re in Istanbul, definitely go for a night stroll. No plan needed, just wander and enjoy the magic.
