Jakarta Trip, Check in at Indonesia Miniature Park

Jakarta surprised us with its quiet corners and unexpected calm. One morning, we stepped into the Cathedral of the Assumption, where sunlight streamed through stained glass onto cool marble floors. The towering spires and gothic arches felt like another world tucked inside the cityโs usual rhythm. Outside, the sound of car horns softened beneath birdsong and the hush of nearby trees a rare moment of stillness in the heart of Central Jakarta. โช๐ค๏ธ๐๏ธ
Later in the day, we ventured to the lesser-known Museum Komodo, part of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah. Inside the reptile-shaped building, we explored halls filled with preserved Komodo dragons, exotic snakes, and miniature jungle dioramas. It was part science, part folklore, and entirely fascinating a strange little museum that reminded us how much mystery still lives in the corners of Indonesiaโs story. ๐ฆ๐๏ธ๐ฟ
In the evening, we skipped the malls and wandered into a quiet warung near Menteng, where grilled ikan bakar sizzled over open flames and sweet es cendol dripped with palm sugar. The air was warm, heavy with spice and smoke, and the night felt unrushed. For a city always on the move, Jakarta still gave us space to slow down, explore the hidden, and feel the beauty in its quieter side. ๐๐ข
