Gwandeokjeong and Yongyeon Valley

Gwandeokjeong is a wooden building from the late Joseon Dynasty and is designated as a national treasure. I like the combination of the artificial pond and the quiet atmosphere.

Yongyeon Valley is also a famous place nearby, and it is said that the lava flowed at the mouth and hardened and eroded to form this valley. It is said that exiled people also enjoyed the scenery here and held a rain-making ceremony here when there was a drought.
