Even within the same island, Jeju offers vastly different vibes between the east and west. Consider this when deciding which side to go for your itinerary ๐
๐ East Jeju
Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, Seopjikoji, and Udo Island are all located here. The sunrise, in particular, is a special experience that can only be enjoyed in the east ๐
. The azure sea and the abundance of cafes along the stone walls make it a great "healing trip." However, be aware that many of these popular spots can be crowded during peak season!
๐ West Jeju
Aewol, Hyeopjae, and Hallim are prime examples. Hyeopjae Beach boasts a stunning backdrop of clear waters and silvery sand, while Aewol Cafe Street is lined with charming cafes, perfect for a leisurely getaway. It's relatively less crowded than the east, so if you're looking for a more relaxed itinerary, the west is recommended.
โ๏ธ Conclusion! For shorter trips, I recommend focusing on the famous attractions in the east, while for longer trips, I recommend enjoying the quiet relaxation in the west.
