Jinjiang with Kids｜This Hotel Made Me Want to Extend My Stay!

Last week, I took my little one on a trip around Quanzhou and stumbled upon the Metropolo Jinjiang Hotel. It turned out to be the most pleasant surprise of the whole trip!

💖The bedding was incredibly soft and fluffy, like sinking into a cloud. The soundproofing was amazing (double-glazed windows + earplugs), so I could finally binge-watch my shows in peace while my little one napped.
💡The most heartwarming moment was when I casually asked the front desk for sanitary pads during my period. Ten minutes later, they not only brought me pads but also a warm cup of brown sugar ginger tea! My husband couldn't help but say, "This service is even better than a mom's…"

▫️Breakfast & Late-Night Snacks for the Whole Family
My little one dragged me to the restaurant at 7:30 am, and to my surprise, they had freshly cooked Jinjiang noodle soup! I had three bowls, and my kid wouldn't leave without finishing their cartoon-shaped buns. The best part was the late-night snack time (8:00 pm-10:00 pm) with free noodle soup. Slurping down a bowl of hot shacha noodles after a long day of playing was pure bliss.

▫️A Farewell Surprise Straight Out of a Rom-Com
On our way back, my little one left their toy in the room, and we only realized it after we arrived at the airport! I called the front desk, and they actually searched the entire room to find it. They even asked a driver to deliver it to the airport within half an hour! Seeing the breathless driver, I was so touched that I wanted to write a 10,000-word essay praising the hotel…

Cherry blossoms all over the mountain + a children's playground. My little one chased butterflies for two hours.
❷ Touching Sandbar of Tangdong Village (Hidden Gem)
Take your kids to dig for small crabs during low tide. The sandbar stretching into the sea is incredibly healing.
❸ Wudian City Traditional Cultural Area (Stunning Night View)
Stroll through the Minnan red brick houses in the evening. My little one loved the earthworm jelly and vegetable cakes in the snack street.

✅ You can borrow strollers/children's tableware from the front desk to lighten your load.
✅ Free Hanfu experience on Thursdays. My little one took lots of cute photos in a small ruqun.
