Serenity on the Kamenice Gorge Boat Trip
For a completely different and equally magical experience, the gentle river cruise through the Kamenice Gorges (Edmunds Gorge and Wild Gorge) is highly recommended. You board a small wooden boat, navigated by a ferryman using a long pole, as the river slowly carves its way between 40-meter-high sheer rock walls. The atmosphere is mystical, cool, and peaceful. The ferryman often shares local tales and historical anecdotes, making the experience both serene and entertaining. Note that this activity is seasonal and requires a strenuous walk down and up hundreds of stairs.
