Amazing Country Retreat in Mountainous Guizhou

Yunshe Village in the mountains of eastern Guizhou province!

A beautifully preserved ancient village, only a one-hour drive from Tongren station! Even during the golden week holiday, it was surprisingly quiet.

There are plenty of restaurants, most of them seem to be in people’s old houses. Also, plenty of good photo opportunities for people by the river, or the Ancient Dragon Pool.

If you have the time to get there, it is absolutely worthwhile. Just make sure to wear comfortable shoes, and check the weather in advance.
