📍Attraction Address:
Yongchang Ancient Temple can be traced back to the Southern Song Dynasty. It is located at the north gate of Mianhu Town and enshrines the Yongchang Buddha. Next to it is a nunnery, which enshrines the Three Sages of Saha, one of whom is Guan Shengdijun. This place is deeply loved by locals, who come to burn incense and worship Buddha during festivals. There are few tourists, so it's worth visiting, enjoying the ancient architecture and experiencing the local life.
🚗Getting There:
You can drive there, but there is no parking lot, so cars are parked on the roadside. The roads in the small town are quite narrow.
👍️Must-sees:
Inside the ancient temple, there are 60 exquisite three-dimensional stone relief carvings from the Qing Dynasty embedded in the walls. They are incredibly beautiful. The main hall's ceiling features a three-layered, intricately carved, gold-lacquered wooden coffered ceiling. The craftsmanship is exquisite and magnificent.
💗Other tips:
Nearby, there is also the Guo Family Mansion, as well as local residences. The streets and alleys are full of local life.
