A Must-Stay Hotel Next to the Imperial Kiln Factory

Porcelain Capital Roaming Plan|Stay in an Artsy Hotel Beside a Millennium-Old Kiln Fire✨

On the first day in Jingdezhen, I stayed at the Pudi Manju Hotel🏨, not far from the Taoyangli Scenic Area. The location is perfect! It’s just a 15-minute walk to Taoyangli Scenic Area, truly a perfect route tailored for the lazy~

🏺 Trip Highlights:
Visit the millennium-old ancient kiln site during the day, and enjoy a night tour of Taoyangli in the evening! The scenic area is open until 10 PM, which is so considerate of tourists! I recommend entering after 4 PM to avoid the heat and to see both the daytime and nighttime views🌃

📍 Must-Visit Spot:
[Taoyangli Historical and Cultural Tourism Area]
The core scenic area you must visit in Jingdezhen! It fully preserves the Imperial Kiln Factory ruins from the Ming and Qing dynasties and showcases traditional porcelain-making crafts. The most impressive are the piles of ancient porcelain shards, immersing you in the profound history of the "Millennium Porcelain Capital"~

🏨 Accommodation Recommendation:
Pudi Manju Hotel (Imperial Kiln Factory Taoyangli Branch), No. 478 South Zhongshan Road.
A typical red brick building with an artful lobby. When checking in, the front desk lady warmly brewed a pot of local Fuliang black tea for me to taste. The flavor is sweet and refreshing with a hint of orchid fragrance. The rooms are very stylishly designed, and the bedding is so comfortable you won’t want to get up. The best part is free parking and a hearty breakfast, all at an excellent value of just over 200 RMB per person!

💡 Tips:
1️⃣ Scenic area ticket is 50 RMB per person, recommended to spend 3-4 hours
2️⃣ Bring mosquito repellent for the night tour, as there are quite a few mosquitoes in summer
3️⃣ The hotel’s top floor has a viewing terrace overlooking the entire Taoyangli night scene
4️⃣ There are many hidden gem ceramic studios nearby; remember to bargain when shopping!

🍜 Food Bonus:
A 10-minute walk takes you to the famous Fuzhou Alley, where you can try fried dough sticks wrapped in glutinous rice cakes, cold noodles, dumpling cakes... Foodies, get ready with a 512GB stomach! Highly recommend "Wu Ji Beef Bone Noodles," a big bowl for 20 RMB that’s so delicious you’ll lick the plate😋
