Shierlan, a tropical dream of the Lancang River
This is a must-check-in hotel when visiting Xishuangbanna.
It features a strong Southeast Asian tropical style. There are many popular hotels in Xishuangbanna,
but unique hotels with a consistent style are rare!
This time, Shierlan has refreshed my perception of hotels in Xishuangbanna.

Service: One-on-one butler service, with a very private and quiet location. It’s only a 10-minute drive from Gozhuang, but much quieter than hotels in Gozhuang. The butler is very responsive to any requests.

Facilities: Breakfast, afternoon tea, welcome fruit, and minibar are all excellent, better than most hotels in Xishuangbanna. Many hotels charge high prices during peak season but their facilities and experience fall far short. Shierlan does this very well!
