Located in the east of Jingyang County, Shaanxi Province, Zhengguo Canal is a spectacular attraction. We spent a whole day visiting this large canal with a long history and interesting stories. We set off in the morning, the weather was great and we took many beautiful photos.

Zhengguo Canal is a great water conservancy project. It is not only a wonder, but also embodies the wisdom of later generations. The canal originated from the ancient "strategy to exhaust Qin". Initially, it was intended to consume Qin's resources, but eventually became China's earliest large-scale damless water diversion and irrigation project, benefiting the people. This canal is known as "the best canal in the world" and is also praised as a "world irrigation engineering heritage". It has been continuously irrigating the agricultural civilization of the Guanzhong Plain for the past two thousand years. Now, let us explore this little-known legendary place together.

Zheng Guo, the soul of Zhengguo Canal, demonstrated extraordinary wisdom during the construction of the canal. He cleverly used the terrain to connect the Jing River and the Luo River, creating a water diversion channel of more than 150 kilometers. He transformed the saline-alkali land into a fertile plain by irrigating the Jing River water with organic matter. Zheng Guo's unyielding spirit persuaded the King of Qin to continue building the canal, which eventually led to the creation of the Zhengguo Canal, a landmark achievement that will last for generations.
