Who understands this! Seeing the "disappearing" sea road with your own eyes will truly amaze you at the power of nature✨ Autumn at Bijia Mountain is free from the summer crowds, and the sea breeze carries a refreshing poetic vibe.
🌉 Core Experience: The Right Way to Enjoy the Sea Bridge
The soul of Bijia Mountain is this 1,620-meter natural pebble sea bridge! At low tide, it looks like a dragon resting on the sea, allowing you to walk to the island to catch little crabs and collect shells; at high tide, seawater covers the stone path, and the bridge instantly "disappears," so you can only return by speedboat.
✅ Tip: Use the "Tide Table Elf" app in advance to check the low tide time. Add 3 hours to the high tide time to find when the bridge surface is exposed. Arriving at the lowest point lets you walk the entire path perfectly.
📸 Must-Check-In Route (Half-Day Highlights)
Island → 168 Steps Up → Lüzu Pavilion → Wumu Palace → Pangu Square → Sanqing Pavilion → One Line Sky
The whole route is rated two stars in difficulty, easy for both elderly and children. Be sure to stop at the top of Sanqing Pavilion! This wooden-free, nail-free stone building houses 50 stone statues, with a rare Pangu statue on the top floor. From here, you can see the breathtaking view where the blue Bohai Sea meets the golden tidal flats.
🍤 Food, Shopping & Pitfall Avoidance Guide
- Tickets: 65 RMB in peak season, often discounted if bought online in advance. Remember to bring your ID.
- Transportation: Take bus 701 from Jinzhou Train Station for 6 RMB direct; parking is 10 RMB/day if driving.
- Food: The seaside stalls offer super fresh sea crabs and mantis shrimp, steamed on the spot or cooked at nearby restaurants. Pair them with Northeast-style Guobaorou (sweet and sour pork) for ultimate satisfaction!
🎒 Essential Pre-Trip Checklist
1. Non-slip sports shoes! The stone path on the bridge is slippery and easy to fall on.
2. Windbreaker + sunscreen, as UV rays are strong by the sea.
3. Sealable bags for your tide-hunting treasures, and some cash in case of poor signal.
4. Power bank! The golden sea surface at sunset is incredibly photogenic, and you won’t want to stop using your phone.
The collision of autumn mountains, sea, ancient architecture, and seafood makes this trip truly worth the ticket price! Hurry and go while it’s less crowded~
