One of my best stays in Johor Bahru

One of my best stays in Johor Bahru is at this 4☆ Doubletree Johor Bahru, which is located right in the heart of the city with easy access to legendary restaurants, premier shopping destinations and the CIQ is just 2 blocks away.

I had their Executive King Room, which is of a good size, comfortable beds, with a cozy bathroom, but I do like their toiletries from Crabtree.

Their check-in was swift, and being on the executive floor, I do get access to their evening cocktail and morning breakfast at the lounge. The food at the lounge is fantastic, and although the buffet choices at Makan Kitchen, their all-day dining are a lot more, I prefer the quieter executive lounge for the meals.

Their cookies remain spectacular, and the facilities are complete with a 24-hour gym and also a nice swimming pool. There is a grab and go cafe at the lobby, and there is also an Italian tratoria at the pool level where I had a lovely set lunch.

Overall, this is one of my best stays in Johor Bahru.
