📍 Staycation at Opero Hotel Southkey, Johor Bahru 🇲🇾

Just got back from a short getaway at Opero Hotel Southkey in JB, and it was such a pleasant surprise! 💫

✨ Location
Opero is perfectly located in the Southkey area, just a few minutes away from Mid Valley Southkey Mall (yes, shopping and food heaven 🛍️🍜). Super convenient if you're crossing over from Singapore — only about 15-20 mins from the checkpoint.

🛏️ The Room
The rooms are modern, clean, and cozy, with a minimalist design. Loved the floor-to-ceiling windows and city view! Everything felt well-maintained and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a great shower (always a must for me!).

🍳 Breakfast & Dining
Breakfast was decent with a mix of local and Western options — not mind-blowing, but enough to start the day. We didn’t get a chance to try their restaurant for lunch/dinner, but I’ve heard good things.

💬 Service
Staff were friendly, check-in was smooth, and overall service was prompt and professional. Felt well taken care of from the moment we arrived.

🏊 Facilities
The hotel has a small gym and pool — nothing fancy, but nice enough for a quick dip or workout. Didn’t spend much time there as we were out exploring most of the time.

⭐ Overall
A solid 4/5 stay for me. Opero Hotel is a great option if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and stylish place to stay in JB without breaking the bank. Would definitely return!

📌 Tip: Book early on weekdays to get better rates, and ask for a high-floor room for a better view 🌆
