Kamikochi is located in the northern part of the Japan Alps in Nagano Prefecture. Anyone who is going this year, hurry up and make a plan. This place is beautiful at all times. It is truly beautiful in every season. Last year, we went twice, during Summer and Autumn. Every time was stunningly beautiful. It is not an exaggeration. You can go here as a one-day trip or stay overnight. There are fewer people in the morning and evening. The atmosphere is very good.

During Autumn, we stayed inside the park. We booked the Kamikochi Alpen Hotel for about 17,000 per night for 4 people, including breakfast and dinner. There is also a communal onsen for soaking. The hotel is not far from Kappa Bashi. It is only a 5-minute walk. If you have time, I recommend staying here for a night.

Travel: We drove and parked at Sawando Parking Lot 3 and took a taxi up for 5,200 yen. If there are 4 of us, we can take a taxi. Or you can take a bus up. It is also convenient.
**You can travel from Nagoya, Tokyo and Osaka. But if you want the most convenient, I recommend Nagoya.
