[Kagawa] Heavenly Torii Gate and Kotohira Shrine

I went to the Hongu Torii, also known as the "Sky Torii" of Kagawa Prefecture. ⛩

After driving up the mountain road and climbing even higher from the parking lot, I was greeted by a breathtaking view that blew away all my fatigue.

The beautiful scenery, just as beautiful as the photos, was right before my eyes.
It was like a scene from that movie. 👏

The road to the parking lot is narrow in places, making it a bit difficult, but I highly recommend visiting on a nice day. 😌

Next, I also visited Kotohira Shrine, about a 40-minute drive from the torii gate.

The old-fashioned atmosphere of this road makes walking so exciting! 😌

However, there are really only stairs here! ⚠️
There are walking sticks everywhere! 🥵

Since it was midsummer, we gave up halfway through, but looking back, we were greeted with a beautiful view (photo 10).

We'll definitely come back here again when it's cooler!
