I had lunch alone today. The exquisite hot pot restaurant on the 10th floor of Hi-Lai Hotel in Kaohsiung boasts substantial ingredients. It's my favorite. Even when you're alone, you need to take good care of yourself and enjoy the food. I also bought some Zhongqiu mooncakes to bring back to my friends in the US. I ordered the American short rib hot pot set. The staff was very friendly, and the supervisor even cooked the noodles for me. It was served with sesame seeds and satay. It was absolutely delicious. 😋 The short ribs were chewy and tender, and the flavor was fresh and sweet. 😋 It was a real pleasure to dine in such a quiet and elegant environment. This is a great restaurant, highly recommended.
