Spring always makes you want to immerse in its gentleness, and Tokyo finally cleared up! Quickly take advantage of the good weather and go cherry blossom viewing! I visited Ikebukuro and Kawagoe this time, and I want to share some tips and experiences with everyone:
I bought a one-day pass (1300 yen), but after testing it, I found it's not really worth it. It's about the same price to just take the TJ Line directly, so there's no need for the extra ticket. 🚆
I recommend heading to Shin-Kawagoe River for cherry blossoms first because the crowds will keep growing as the day goes on. If you want to take a boat ride, be sure to get there early. 🚤🌸
I walked through Kawagoe Ichibangai as per the guide, but the lines at restaurants were really long, so it’s best to avoid peak hours! 🍣🍜
Kumano Shrine and Kita-In Temple are must-visits, especially Kita-In Temple. The flowers are beautiful and peaceful, and there are fewer tourists, so you can get great photos! 📸✨
Route Tips:
From Takadanobaba Station, transfer to the TJ Line and get off at Ochiai Station in one stop, then walk to Otakibashi, Ochiai Central Park Entrance, and enjoy the cherry blossoms along the way. 🌸
This cherry blossom journey was full of spring romance and let me experience the unique charm of different places! 💕
