Kawazu Cherry Blossom Season in Japan

Kawazu cherry blossoms are the earliest blooming cherry blossoms in eastern Japan, blooming about a month earlier than other regions, typically in February each year.
From Atami, take the Izu Kyuko Line to Kawazu Station. Once you exit the station, you'll find yourself in the main activity area of the cherry blossom season.
Cherry blossoms line both sides of the river, and the large petals of Kawazu cherry blossom trees are a vivid pink.
