Travel review from Bangkok to Koh Lipe

Today we will #ReviewTravel from Bangkok to Koh Lipe. This is a small island on the Andaman coast that can be called the southernmost island in Thailand. The journey is quite tiring, but the beauty here is worth the effort.

📍Today we will review traveling by plane and tour bus.

✈️ Traveling by plane
1. Fly from Bangkok to Hat Yai Airport. It takes about 1.30 hours. It is recommended to fly on an early morning flight to arrive in Hat Yai before 9:00 a.m.
2. Take a van from Hat Yai Airport to Pak Bara Pier. It takes about 2 hours. It is recommended to book a boat ticket in advance. There will be a package that includes a van to pick up and drop off from the airport.
3. Take a boat from Pak Bara Pier to Koh Lipe. It takes about 1.30 hours. Each boat schedule is similar. There are 11:30 and 13:30. During the high season, there may be an additional morning boat schedule.

🚌 Traveling by bus
1. Take a bus from the new Southern Bus Terminal and get off at Langu District, Satun Province. The journey takes about 13-14 hours. There is a stop for lunch on the way. It is recommended to take the bus in the evening. When you arrive in the morning, you can take a boat to Koh Lipe.
2. Take a motorcycle taxi from Langu District to Pak Bara Pier, a distance of about 10 km.
3. Take a boat from Pak Bara Pier to Koh Lipe.

🛵 When you arrive at Koh Lipe, you can call a motorcycle taxi to take you to your accommodation. Some hotels also have a shuttle service. Don't forget to check first.
