Wat Plai Laem is a truly stunning and peaceful temple in Koh Samui. Surrounded by water, the main temple sits beautifully in the center, creating a magical view. The 18-handed Guanyin statue is breathtaking, symbolizing compassion, while the large Buddha shines brightly, adding to the serene atmosphere. The intricate details and colorful artwork throughout the temple make it a must-visit. You can also buy fish food for just 10 baht and feed the fish and turtles, which adds to the experience. There’s a small store nearby for refreshments. A perfect place to visit for both beauty and tranquility!

It was an incredible experience! The temple is beautiful, with stunning statues and intricate architecture that reflect the rich cultural heritage of Thailand. The large statue of Guan Yin is particularly awe-inspiring.

One thing to note is that proper dress is required when visiting—no shorts are allowed, and shoulders must be covered, so make sure to dress accordingly before you go. It's definitely worth the visit, and the peaceful atmosphere made for a truly memorable time. Highly recommend!
