The Best Seafood Buffet on Koh Samui

Baan Suan Lung Khai is a Southern Thai and seafood restaurant on Koh Samui that has been recommended by the Michelin Guide for several consecutive years.

The restaurant focuses on using fresh ingredients sourced daily. Having dined here multiple times, I was so impressed by the delicious flavors that I found myself flying to Koh Samui frequently just to enjoy their food. The freshness and large size of the ingredients, especially the blue crabs and oysters from Surat Thani province, are remarkable. The crab meat comes in large chunks with no small bits—truly a must-try for blue crab lovers.

Other dishes are also very flavorful. One of my personal favorites, which I often reorder, is the coconut milk dessert. It's incredibly delicious—if light could express taste, it surely would.

For Baan Suan Lung Khai, reservations must be made at least one day in advance due to high demand. The restaurant operates in two sessions daily: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 4:30 PM - 7:00 PM.
