While strolling near Kuala Lumpur's Chinatown, I unexpectedly discovered this historic little spot—the Chen Clan Academy! It used to be the ancestral hall for the Chen family, and I heard there were even ancestors' graves here before they were relocated. Now, it's open for free visits, which is really generous!
The architecture inside the academy is incredibly exquisite, with colorful ceramic sculptures on the eaves and many ancient couplets and plaques on the walls. The overall atmosphere is comfortable and culturally rich, making it perfect for taking beautiful photos!
Plus, it's located right next to Chinatown, just a few minutes' walk away, making it a great place to visit along the way. If you love ancient architecture or want to find a small cultural spot, the Chen Clan Academy is definitely worth stopping by~💕
