Kumamoto Castle
Kumamoto Castle is a representative example of Japanese castle architecture.
Located on a hill in Chuo-ku, Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture, it is a large, beautiful, and sturdy castle, one of the oldest in Japan.
It is the third largest castle in Japan.
Admission fee (Kumamoto Castle only): Adults 800 yen, children 300 yen.
Opening hours: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
