[Okinawa] Nago City - A great way to refresh yourself! A quick hike with a spectacular view

Katsuudake, a mountain with a spectacular view of the East China Sea beyond Nago Bay in Nago City

Katsuudake is a 452m mountain located on the Motobu Peninsula in the northern part of Okinawa's main island.

You can reach the summit in 30 to 40 minutes from the free parking lot at the trailhead.

The mountain is characterized by its rugged, rocky mountain trail.

There are some tough spots here and there, but a spectacular view awaits you at the end of the final steep slope.

You'll be able to see a 360-degree panoramic view of not only Nago Bay but also the sea on the Nakijin Village side.

When you think of Okinawa, you think of the sea, but the mountains are no less impressive.
