Golden Horse Gate and Emerald Chicken Gate

Golden Horse and Jade Rooster Archways 金马碧鸡坊
These are two gates in the Jinbi Square pedestrian street area. They were built during the Ming Dynasty and are more than 400 years old. They are placed parallel to the east and west. It is said that if the sun and moon meet in the sky, the shadows of the two gates will overlap. We came at night and the lights were on, which was very beautiful. This place is popular for organizing activities and setting up booths.
