Yunnan Trip: No Need to Book Accommodations in Advance

The reason we decided not to book accommodations in advance is that my husband uses a wheelchair, and the descriptions of Yunnan's environment and online lodging options are not always reliable. Therefore, we chose to find accommodations upon arrival, ensuring they meet our satisfaction before checking in.
Our priorities for choosing accommodations are easy accessibility, comfort and safety, high-quality bedding and amenities, and good value for money. Below are the guesthouses and hotels we stayed at, all of which can be found on Ctrip:
Lijiang, Kunming: We opted for chain hotels with elevators located outside the ancient town, such as Home Inn and All Seasons Hotel.
Lugu Lake: Mountain Sea Lake View Room, which I recently introduced in a post.
Baisha Ancient Town: Yulong Lixuetang Inn.
Shaxi Ancient Town: Fanghe Guesthouse.
Erhai Lake: Jiuqiyuan Hot Spring Hotel (newly opened, everything is brand new).
Dali West Coast: Haishang Mingyue (newly opened, fresh and pleasant).
Dali East Coast: Langyue Seaview Inn in Wenbi Village (stunning sea views, swimming pool available—bring your swimsuit to enjoy the infinity pool. The rooftop also offers photo opportunities with a "sky mirror" effect).
We are grateful that we were able to find comfortable and satisfying accommodations throughout this trip, making our half-month self-driving tour in Yunnan both enjoyable and smooth.
