After driving along the Dushanzi-Kuqa Highway from Nalati, we arrived at Kuqa, our final destination. After a long day on the road, we checked into the pre-booked Mijiang Qiaoshe Homestay.
This place is incredibly convenient for a transit stay!
The homestay boasts an excellent location, allowing you to explore the old town's streets right after stepping out. A night market and Huamao Lane are just at the doorstep.
Below is my ultra-practical experience and guide after spending two days and one night here, shared for those planning a trip to Kuqa!
đĄ Homestay Experience: Mijiang Qiaoshe
⢠Stay Impressions:
⌠Tucked away in the old town, the homestay blends Western Region architectural styles. Rooms feature Adilais silk curtains, handmade wool rugs, and ethnic decor, offering an immersive experience of Western Region life.
⌠I booked a Deluxe King Room with a balcony (48ăĄ), which was spacious with an independent balcony overlooking the old townâs lively scenes. The smart toilet and separate wet/dry bathroom were great additions. The room also had a smart assistant (Xiaodu) for voice-controlled lights, weather checks, and musicâperfect for lazy tech lovers! Comfort and convenience at its best.
⌠The service was thoughtful! A 24/7 butler was always on call. Free ethnic costumes were available for photo ops, creating stunning Western-style shots. The drinks at the Restan Old Tea & Coffee Restaurant were also worth tryingâthe lemon sparkling water was refreshing!
⢠Tip: Book early if you want to stay here!
