Tofukuji Temple is about 1 kilometer away from
Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine
which we reviewed earlier.
If you walk, it will take about 15 minutes.
The outer area of the temple is free to visit.
But if you want to go inside the bridge,
you have to buy an entrance ticket. Inside the temple consists of
Tsutenkyo Bridge is a wooden bridge connecting
between Hojo Hall and Kaisando Hall.
It is 100 meters long and surrounded by maple trees.
It is a popular spot for viewing autumn leaves at this temple.
Sammon Gate is next to the main hall of the temple.
This gate is 22 meters high and is considered one of
the oldest and largest gates of Zen temples.
