✅ Public Area Design: True to its brand - "No two Indigos are alike." The Qingshui Bay Indigo cleverly incorporates the Danjia culture of Hainan, featuring pearl and scallop elements, making it Hainan's first boutique hotel inspired by neighborhood culture. The lobby and connecting corridors are rich in details with a youthful, design-forward aesthetic - perfect for photos. Compared to Kimpton's darker, old-money style, Indigo feels fresher.

🧹 Soundproofing/Cleanliness: The hotel maintains excellent hygiene standards with a clean environment, no noticeable odors in rooms, and good soundproofing that effectively blocks outside noise for quality rest.

🏘️ Room Types/Layout: Both the full ocean-view and boutique ocean-view rooms at Indigo offer great sea views, appearing closer to the ocean visually than Kimpton's. The 56 sqm boutique twin room includes an 8 sqm outdoor balcony, standalone bathtub, walk-in shower, and smart space utilization for comfortable living. Indigo's rooms are nearer to the sea but slightly farther from public areas.

🛌 Amenities/Facilities: Bright room tones with thoughtful hardware details - Dyson hairdryer, Canasin bathrobes, Delonghi electric kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, and Shanghai Tang's Jade Dragon toiletries. The stylish bathrobes are soft to touch, while the wooden keycards feature unique seashell designs. Rooms also have smart toilets, Bluetooth speakers, automatic coffee machines, and a complimentary minibar on the first night.

✅ Service: Typically, new hotels need service improvements in their first month, but Indigo excels. The guest relations team is professional, organized, and warm, even offering guided room tours. Among many new hotels opened within two months, this Indigo's hardware and service are flagship quality.

✅ Dining: Four restaurants - Indigo's Guanhai serves seafood hotpot in bamboo baskets; Kimpton's Haiyu focuses on Hainanese cuisine; Lujian offers Western dishes and breakfast; and the poolside Tihu is a Japanese restaurant. There's also a pool bar and Kimpton lobby bar.
