Nestled in the lush hills of Fujian, Yongding Hakka Tulou (永定客家土楼) is a fascinating UNESCO World Heritage site, famous for it's massive, circular and square earth buildings built by the Hakka people centuries ago. More than just architectural marvels, these Tulou are still home to local families, making it a rare place where heritage and daily life coexist As you wander through the Hongkeng Cluster, you'll witness scenes of everyday village life where elderly sipping tea in the courtyards, children playing under wooden beams, and residents tending to their small shops and gardens. It's a peaceful, living museum where the past and present blend beautifully.
