Unforgettable Bliss at COMO Maalifushi

We recently returned from an unforgettable trip to COMO Maalifushi in the Maldives, and it was genuinely everything we desired and more! The place is absolutely breathtaking—crystal-clear waters, white sandy shores, and such tranquility that you forget the rest of the world. The weather was flawless, and the scenery? Just incredible. Every sight was like a picture-perfect postcard. A major highlight was being in the water. We swam alongside tropical fish, sharks, and manta rays, which was stunning—but the true enchantment was swimming with turtles. That moment was sheer joy, something we'll cherish forever. You wouldn't expect a small island in the Indian Ocean to be a culinary heaven, but COMO astounded us. Every evening was a delight, and we had the pleasure of attending two five-course degustation dinners by Chef Dika. He didn't just whip up meals—he immersed us in an experience. Each dish had its own tale, and his enthusiasm for his craft shone through. We're sure he’s destined to manage a Michelin-starred establishment one day soon. While expectations can sometimes miss the mark, for us, reality exceeded them. We were privileged to have Jaleel by our side throughout our stay. From arrival to farewell, he made us feel at home—meeting every need seamlessly as he was always eager to assist, direct, and accommodate us. Jaleel, together with the entire staff, truly welcomed us with open arms. Overall, it was a trip that leaves you rejuvenated, inspired, and already dreaming of a return visit.
