Wetland Pond Cypress Trail

Pond cypress is a national first-class protected plant. The Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau of Macau began planting them in rows in 2012 to separate the wetland environment from the Avenida da Praia, reducing the impact of traffic noise on wetland birds. The rare plant species is artificially planted and maintained along the ecological trail facing the avenue to protect the ecological balance of Taipa, beautify the natural environment of the Taipa Houses, and provide a place for citizens to walk and exercise.
