A story of time deep in the old alley

#澳门之旅
Day 1: Historical Footprints in the Alleys
In the morning, we strolled through the old streets and alleys of Macau and walked into the Po-Chia House of the Holy House of Mercy. This small courtyard full of historical atmosphere made people feel peaceful and warm.
Once a shelter for orphans, it has now been restored and turned into a museum showcasing the history of charity. Various objects are displayed in the house, recording how the Charity House cares for the disadvantaged. The old photos and text descriptions on the wall are moving. After leaving the old woman's house, we walked along the alley and arrived at the Senate Square. The square's European-style buildings and wavy cobblestone roads complement each other, and the music performed by street performers injects vitality into this ancient neighborhood.
Day 2: The Interweaving of Faith and Culture
The itinerary for the second day starts from the Ruins of St. Paul’s. This iconic building shows the unique charm of the fusion of Chinese and Western cultures in Macau. Standing in front of the archway and taking a closer look at the religious patterns and texts carved on it, one will be deeply fascinated by the profound sense of history. In the afternoon, we went to the Rose Church. The golden walls looked particularly dazzling in the sun. The tranquil atmosphere inside the church is in stark contrast to the busy street. At the end of the day, we tasted authentic Portuguese tarts in a small shop on the street, which added more memories and warmth to the journey.
