📍Transportation Tips
Hidden in the artistic secret realm of the "Second Floor of MGM Macau", take the free "Lucky Car" from Hengqin Port directly to MGM Cotai, and then transfer to the shuttle bus to MGM Macau to save time! If you drive, you can park in the hotel parking lot, which is only a 3-minute walk away.
🔥Must-see highlights
1️⃣ The bronze statues of the animals in the Old Summer Palace: the four national treasures of ox/tiger/monkey/pig are stunning at close range, with details including the hair texture being clear
2️⃣ Maritime Silk Road Relics: 228 treasures including Tang Dynasty celadon jars and Song Dynasty export porcelain, touching the thousand-year trade history
3️⃣ Immersive monsoon installation: giant LEDs simulate ancient sailing waves, allowing you to stand in the light and shadow to take photos of yourself being surrounded by waves
📸Private photography method
✅ Reflection of the animal heads: squat down and use the display cabinet glass to take a double reflection of the bronze statue + ceiling caisson, IG is full of praise
✅ AI Silk Road Interaction: Wave your hands in front of the OLED screen to "virtually disassemble" blue and white porcelain and capture the dynamic blue light penetration
✅ No reflective glass! All display cabinets are specially coated, allowing for close-up photography of artifacts with zero reflection
🎫Hidden Tips
▪️ Free reservation: Book a time slot in advance on the MGM official account. The least crowded time slot is at 11am.
▪️ Parent-child route: Go to the "Dynamic History Experience Area" on the second floor first and use your fingertips to trace the tea trade route. The children are so tired of playing that they don't want to leave
▪️ Avoid the crowds: Open until 21:00 on Friday night, the night visit with the skylight square lights is more magical
🍴Nearby food
After visiting the exhibition, walk 5 minutes to "Golden Palace" to eat Michelin Cantonese cuisine, flax seed roasted chicken with crispy skin and tender meat! Takeaway from Andrew's Bakery, Portuguese tarts, hot and spicy
