#localguides The 35th Macau Arts Festival, themed "Growth," successfully concluded after being hosted by the Cultural Affairs Bureau from April 25 to May 31. It presented 15 cross-disciplinary art programs alongside over 77 extension activities, achieving an 85% ticket sales rate and reaching nearly 5.4 million audience members through online platform promotions.

This edition received strong audience support, with multiple sold-out performances including Life of Pi, Christmas Around the Corner, the musical Kiki's Delivery Service, and several sessions of Rave: The Swing Generation. Coinciding with Macau, China's status as the "2025 East Asia Culture Capital," the festival featured works from China, Japan, and South Korea, such as the Cantonese opera concert In Search of Cantonese Music, The Mad Phoenix, the musical Kiki's Delivery Service, De Ling and Empress Dowager Cixi, and Shamanic Beat, fostering cultural exchange and appreciation.

Numerous extension activities—including artist talks, backstage tours, pre-show introductions, lectures, workshops, exhibitions, and international stage recordings—were well-received, integrating culture into daily life.
